FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is DRIBL?     DRIBL is the registration platform introduced by Bankstown Association.  The parent creates and account and then registers their child/children to play soccer at our club

What is the REGISTRATION fee

  • A one-off payment for the whole season
  • Includes your playing uniform
  • All referee fees.

Where does my registration fee go?  The various governing bodies, Football Australia & Football NSW & our Association BDAFA make up the bulk of where your money goes. A very small portion goes to the club’s operating expenses e.g. playing equipment, lighting fees, field and clubroom hire from council and maintenance. Club uniform and referee fees are also included.

Why has the club’s registration fee increased?       Sadly, the three governing bodies have increased their fees (between 12% and 27%) so our registration fees have had to be increased accordingly.

Where do I get help to register?

  • If you have any difficulty with the registration process you can  attend one of our registration days – every Saturday in February between 10 am and 2.00 pm at the clubhouse.
  • Email register at register@northbankstownsoccerclub.com
  • Phone registrar on 0407 505 377

What do I need to buy?

  • All players need soccer boots and shin pads for games and training. We recommend not over spending on ‘boots’ as the kids grow out of them in one season.
  • Training kit recommended
  • Club apparel is available for sale at our shop on the club website.

When do I get the Player Uniform?    Full uniform (shirt, shorts, socks) is included in your registration fee. The uniform is distributed late March, ready for the first game of the season.

Is there a Training Uniform?    We suggest that you buy the training set from club on-line store @ $26 for shirt and shorts

When is training ?

  • Training starts early February for most teams for 1 hour approx
  • Junior teams usually train Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on coach availability
  • Girls teams train Wednesday nights
  • Start time varies from 5:30 to 6:30 depending on the age of the player and availability of the coach.
  • Training days and times are confirmed  after discussion with coaches and parents as what suits their team best.

Is Professional Coaching Available?  YES.  Experience the difference that professional coaching can make.  Offered Thursday at 5:30pm        For more information on Professional Coaching click HERE

Game Day - What time are the games?   All junior boys/mixed teams play on Saturday mornings. Younger age groups usually play earliest. Junior girls teams aged 12 and over play Sunday mornings

Where are the games played?  Games are played on a home and away basis, so every second week your team will play at our home ground. Other weeks, there are 19 other clubs in the Bankstown area and you will play at one of these parks as determined by BDAFA. The draw for the whole season is released late March.

Are the works paid?    NO.  Everyone who you see working either on the field or in the clubhouse or canteen remember they are ALL volunteers
